May 4 and 5:Cruising begins at 10:00am Northbound through the inside passage through Canada
May 6:Enter back into US waters Anchoring in a small bay in Alaska
May 7:Cruise the Behm Canal and Misty Fjords National Monument (a spectacular Alaskan cruising area) Visit Punch Bowl
May 8: Cove, spend time kayaking and enjoying the area. Port in Ketchikan, AK Breakfast aboard
May 9: the Island Spirit Day of shopping Cruising begins at 3:00pm to an anchorage of the Captain’s choice
May 10:Cruising this am. Afternoon visit to Wrangell, AK (where you will enjoy a thrilling Jet boat ride up the Stikine River,((keep an eye out for moose). In Port tonight in Wrangell.
May 11:Cruising this am through the Wrangell Narrows Anchor in Thomas Bay for some Kayaking.
May 12:Cruising this am through Frederick Sound and Stephen’s Passage Anchor tonight in Ford’s Terror
May 13: Fords Terror. Early morning Kayaking with Brunch at 10:00am Depart Ford’s Terror at 4:00pm
May 14:Arrive in Juneau Day of shopping Dinner aboard the Island Spirit at 6:30pm
May 15:Breakfast aboard the Island Spirit 8:30am Transfers to hotels/airport

Wilderness Cruise
Juneau, AK to Juneau, AK
Day 1
Arrive Juneau, AK Daily shuttle from airport, Board vessel,settle in, Enjoy your afternoon touring Juneau. Meet our Naturalist and take a tour of the Alaska State Museum. Back aboard for departure at 4:00pm, cocktail reception at 5:00pm, dinner, and short evening cruise passing Sum dum Glacier and achoring in Sanford Cove.

Day 2
Whale search and cruise toward Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier (an active Tidewater glacier) Enjoy some breathtaking Glacier experience, see harbor seals with their young pups. We then enter the Fabulous Fords Terror (a unique experience, not seen by many) Watch for brown bears in this area.

Day 3
Today we spend the day in one of Southeast Alaska's most pristine and scenic canyons, Fords Terror. Known for swirling rapids and sheer cliff faces, this wonderful wilderness area is protected under the Tongass National Forest. We'll invite a U.S. forest service ranger to join us (if available) and discuss the spectacular fjord around us. Today we enjoy a majestic place to kayak, or take skiff rides, and explore a place that very few people even know exist. We often find bear along the coastline. We must leave when the tide is high, off to a quiet anchorage

Day 4
This morning we will port at the native village of Kake, AK. We will enjoy the town, visit a local hatchery, and watch for black bears feeding on salmon in the streams. This afternoon we will cruise to another wilderness anchorage.

Day 5
We cruise today through Chatham Strait. We search for Dalls porpoise and Whales (orca, humpbacks, or even killer whales). We will take a break this afternoon for some kayaking, take an interpretive walk with our Naturalist, and cruise to the Captain's anchorage of choice.p>

Day 6
Cruise this morning in Chatham Strait. Today we enjoy a truly unique Alaskan community, Tenakee Springs. Population 128! There's time to stroll among the waterfront homes, visit the merchantile (founded in 1899) and enjoy a little shopping at the friendly bakery. Chat with some local folks that live in the Alaska few ever see or get a chance to visit!

Day 7
This morning we are in the town of Hoohah, Icy Strait Point. Once an active fishing cannery, that is now remodeled and renovated to showcase the local native culture and entertainment. We will enjoy native dance and learn about the local Alaskan culture. You might want to add the additional excursion at this port. The US's longest zip line. We anchor again tonight to listen to some quiet of nature"

Day 8
This morning we cruise to a quiet bay. We enjoy one final day of kayaking and skiff rides. This afternoon we will cruise back to the state Capitol of Juneau."

Breakfast is served and baggage is transferred to the airport for flights home. Depart from Juneau.AK

Exploration Cruise Cruise
Sitka, AK to Juneau, AK or Reverse
Day 1
Your morning arrival in Sitka will give you time to shop and get lunch on your own before our tour begins at 2:30 p.m. Tour begins at the St. Michaels Russian Orthodox Church, then followed by the Alaska Raptor Center, Totem Park and the Sheldon Jackson Museum. Then join your Captain and crew aboard the Island Spirit at 5:00pm for cocktails as we depart for our evening anchorage. Enjoy beautiful scenery along the way.

Day 2
Experience more of the great wilderness as we make our way to Baranof Warm Springs Bay. This will be our anchorage for the evening. Take a hike up to the lake and learn about the Muskeg along the way. Later, soak in one of the hot sulphur tubs while enjoying the waterfall view.

Day 3
Today, we cruise north in Chatham Strait, we watch for humpback whales that frequest this area in the summer months. The Captain will make his choosing on our days events. Tonight, we arrive in Hoonah, AK. perhaps have a fire and take a walk along the Icy Straits

Day 4
We are in Hoonah, this morning. Icy Strait Point. We learn of the Icy Strait Cannery, Learn of the Alaskan Culture and watch a Tribal Dance. After some may choose to partake as an ADD-on in US longest ZIPLINE. We cruise tonight to port in Gustavus, AK

Day 5
We rise early today for breakfast and early morning transfers to Bartlett Cove (The gateway to the Famous Glacier Bay,AK. You will have a full day of cruising and sightseeing through Glacier Bay on a narrated Catamaran. You come back aboard the Island Spirit for cocktails and Dinner to this evenings anchorage.p>

Day 6
Early morning cruising to Haines, AK, where you will enjoy a local tour and have some time for exploring the city. This evening we tour north to the port in Skagway, AK

After breakfast we have a day of tours, shopping, and exploring the city of Skagway,AK. Optional lunch on your own. Back aboard for cocktails and cruising at 5:00pm. Achorage of Captain's choice.p>

Today we have our final day of cruising. This afternoon we will port in Juneau, AK and take a tour of Juneau Museum.
